About Elaine
Background
I am a fully accredited member of the Irish Forum of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (IFPP) and of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).

I hold an MSc in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the School of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin, as well as a Post-Master’s Clinical Diploma from the Irish Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (IIPP) and a Professional Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman in London. I also hold earlier qualifications in Psychology and Guidance Counselling.

Alongside my clinical training, I have a longstanding background in yoga and meditation which has deepened my appreciation for how inner experience is carried and expressed through the body.

With over 15 years experience working with people in therapeutic roles, my work is guided by curiosity about how we come to know and change — through words, through the felt experience of the body, and through the quiet spaces in between. I offer a calm, reflective space where patterns can come into awareness, and where lasting change can unfold.
